TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Typing Rivals mobile application (the "Service") operated by Acetate Apps ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. ACCOUNTS
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
To maintain a fair and active community, we reserve the right to reclaim usernames from accounts that have been inactive for a prolonged period. If your username is reclaimed due to inactivity, your account data will remain intact, but you may be required to select a new username upon your next login. Additionally, we reserve the right to change any username without notice if it violates our community standards.
2. FAIR PLAY & PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Typing Rivals is a competitive game reliant on skill. To ensure a fair environment for all players, the following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate and permanent ban:
- Cheating & Bots: Using macros, scripts, automated typing software, bots, or any third-party tools to simulate gameplay or manipulate typing speed (WPM).
- Exploits: Intentionally exploiting bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage in matches or league rankings.
- Offensive Content: Using usernames or profile pictures that are offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, or violate the rights of others.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision, including suspending or terminating the account of such violators.
3. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND ITEMS
The Service may include virtual currency ("Coins") or items ("Titles", "Avatars").
- No Monetary Value: Virtual Currency and Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for real money, goods, or other items.
- License: You acquire a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Virtual Items. You do not own them.
- No Refunds: All purchases of Virtual Currency and Items are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Typing Rivals Team and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
5. TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time:
- In-app via Settings > Delete Account.
- Via our website: Delete Account.
Guest accounts: Because Guest accounts are anonymous, we cannot verify ownership via the web for security reasons. To delete a Guest account, please reinstall the app and follow Settings > Delete Account.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Typing Rivals Team, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
7. CHANGES
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
